PRODUCTS

Products We Build

Five focused product categories for custom sheet-metal guards, covers, enclosures, acoustic components, and robot/vision protection. Choose a category to see examples and quote information.

We work from your information—drawings when you have them, or photos and measurements when you don’t—and we quote fabricated sheet-metal guards, covers, and related components for Ontario-based projects.

How a Product Request Works

  1. Send photos, sketches, drawings, or measurements
  2. We review the request and follow up if details are missing
  3. We confirm material, finish, quantity, and lead time during quoting
  4. Once approved, the guard, cover, panel, or enclosure is fabricated and prepared for pickup or shipping

Not sure where your project fits?

Send photos, sketches, drawings, or a short description. We can route your request as a machine guard, agricultural guard, equipment enclosure, acoustic component, or robot/vision protection project.

HOW WE HELP

Services

We fabricate practical sheet-metal guarding, enclosure, protection, and noise-control components from drawings, CAD files, sketches, photos, measurements, or existing parts.

  • Custom Guard & Enclosure Fabrication

Laser-cut, formed, welded, and finished guards, covers, panels, and housings sized to your equipment.

  • Replacement Guards from Photos or Old Parts

Reverse-engineering style quotes from photos, damaged covers, samples, or field dimensions.

  • Retrofit Guard Kits for Older Equipment

Bolt-together kits, access panels, and formed covers when OEM guarding is missing or obsolete.

  • Design-for-Fabrication Support

Practical layout, tolerances, bend relief, and assembly features so parts are manufacturable and installable.

  • Small Batches & Repeatable Assemblies

Tab-and-slot or repeatable builds for maintenance spares, fleet equipment, or production tooling.

  • Finishing & Hardware Options

Powder coating, safety colors, hinges, latches, PEM-style hardware, and vent patterns where specified.

ABOUT

Practical Engineering and Manufacturing Experience

Industrial Guard & Enclosure Works was built around practical mechanical engineering and manufacturing experience.

We focus on fabricated sheet-metal guards, covers, enclosures, louvers, and protection components for real industrial and agricultural equipment. Our approach combines mechanical design experience with practical fabrication methods so parts are easier to quote, manufacture, install, access, and maintain.

The goal is not to overcomplicate guarding and enclosure projects. The goal is to build practical components that fit the equipment, protect exposed areas, allow maintenance access, support airflow or visibility where needed, and can be produced consistently from drawings, sketches, photos, or site measurements.

With a background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing operations, machine design, quality systems, and production improvement, we understand the gap between what looks good on paper and what actually works on the shop floor.

We serve manufacturers, farms, grain-handling facilities, maintenance teams, automation builders, millwrights, and equipment dealers across Ontario.

Fabricated Components, Not Overpromised Systems

We fabricate the physical guards, covers, panels, louvers, baffles, and enclosures. Customer-specific compliance, certified electrical ratings, engineered safety systems, and guaranteed acoustic performance should be handled through the customer’s engineering process or a qualified partner.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about custom machine guards, retrofit covers, equipment enclosures, agricultural guards, and noise-control components.

Can you make a guard from photos or rough measurements?+

Yes. For many replacement guards, retrofit covers, and simple equipment enclosures, photos, rough dimensions, sketches, or an old damaged guard are enough to start a quote. We may follow up for mounting details, clearances, moving parts, access requirements, and material or finish preferences.

Do I need a CAD drawing to request a quote?+

No. CAD files are helpful, but not required. You can send drawings, photos, sketches, measurements, damaged parts, or equipment details. If more information is needed, we will ask before quoting.

Do you provide certified machine-safety systems?+

No. We fabricate physical guards, covers, panels, and enclosures. Customer-specific compliance, risk assessments, engineered safety systems, interlocks, controls, PSRs, and certification requirements should be handled by the customer’s engineering process or a qualified partner.

Can you replace missing or damaged OEM guards?+

Yes. Replacement guards for older equipment, damaged covers, modified machines, and hard-to-find OEM guards are one of the main types of projects we quote.

What materials and finishes can you work with?+

Common options include mild steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel where appropriate, perforated sheet, expanded metal, raw/deburred parts, and powder-coated finishes. Final material selection depends on the environment, corrosion exposure, airflow, strength, cleaning needs, and customer specifications.

Can you make guards for farm and grain-handling equipment?+

Yes. We quote guards and covers for augers, conveyors, grain dryers, aeration fans, barn ventilation fans, feed systems, bin unload equipment, and other rural equipment.

Do you guarantee noise reduction for acoustic panels or sound hoods?+

No. We fabricate acoustic and noise-control components such as louvers, baffles, perforated liners, sound hoods, and replacement acoustic panels. Guaranteed dB reduction should be handled through testing, customer specifications, or an acoustic engineering partner.

What information should I include in a quote request?+

Useful information includes photos, approximate dimensions, what moving part or equipment needs to be guarded, indoor or outdoor use, dust or moisture exposure, airflow or visibility needs, maintenance access, timeline, and any drawings, sketches, PDFs, or CAD files.
